An Historic Home, Lovingly Renewed

The Nest at Grey Farms is one of those places.
Thanks to a local family’s vision and care, this 1890s farmhouse has been restored to its original floor plan and placed on the National Register of Historic Places. The wraparound porch, the soaring ceilings, and the original windows whisper stories of generations past — now reimagined for today’s celebrations and retreats.
Built in the late 1800s, this farmhouse has stood for generations, quietly witnessing the rhythms of rural life — mornings warmed by sunlight through tall windows, evenings spent on the porch, conversations carried by the breeze. Like many historic homes, it has known seasons of activity and seasons of stillness. But its bones remained strong, and its story was never finished.
When we first encountered the home, we didn’t see a renovation project. We saw a promise.
